Gilmartin began following the poker circuit in 2009 as a reporter for PokerNews and, regularly presenting from the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour, Latin American Poker Tour and Asia Pacific Poker Tour. Gilmartin is married to professional poker player and World Poker Tour Mexico commentator Angel Guillen. In 2020, she was inducted into The Australian Poker Hall of Fame.
